The first goal of the game is scored by Seton Hill's

Morgan Cain. ESU was quick to tie the game on a free position shot at 27:35.
The Griffins go up 3-1 with two goals from
Emily Fagan and
Christine Palmeri at 25:26. Five more back forth goals between the Griffins and ESU, the Griffins find themselves up one with 8:18. Goal contributions from

This was not enough for the Griffins to hold the lead as ESU's Kaitlynn Wiltraut scores three goals in the last 1:04 to tie up the game at 7 leading into halftime.

ESU scores at 26:58 to gain back the eluding two-goal lead. ESU called a timeout from the sideline. Cain scored for the Griffins at 21:39 on a play started by a caused turnover by
Rachel Hilbert, the score 10-9 ESU.
Griffins found themselves down 12-9 with 14:40 left to play in the game. Two goals by

Renee Kania. Women's lacrosse overtimes are not played the first to score wins the game, the Griffins had to play solid defense to ensure victory. ESU did not get one shot off for the rest of the game.
