Box Score Greensburg, PA- The Seton Hill Women's lacrosse team jumps to the No. 4 spot in the PSAC rankings after beating the Millersville Marauders 18-9 today at Dick's Sporting Goods Field. The Griffins improve to 12-4 overall and 7-4 in PSAC play. The Millersville Marauders fall to 5-10 overall and 1-9 in PSAC play.
Morgan Cain started off the first half on a scoring run, scoring the first goal unassisted then assisting
Emily Fagan for the following three goals. Like Déjà vu, Cain assisted Fagan three times in a row, all on similar plays.
Emma Simmers added two goals in the first half. Cain ended the Griffins scoring I n the first. The score leading into halftime was 7-5 in favor of Seton Hill. First half statistics: Cain 2 goals 3 assists, Fagan 3 goals, E. Simmers 2 goals, and Kania 2 assists. At half time the Griffins were outshooting the Marauders 17-8.
In a similar style as the first half, the Griffins strung together four separate multi-goal runs in the second half. Seven different scorers added to the total second half points, proving the versatility of the Griffin offense. The Griffins outscored Millersville 11-4 in the second half concluding a final score of 18-9 in favor of Seton Hill.

Millersville capitalized on their free position shots scoring 4 goals on 6 attempts. In part because of the Griffin defense, Seton Hill only allowed five contested goals the entire game. This speaks well of great team defense.
