Box Score

The Griffin lacrosse team traveled to Philippi, WV for an ECAC contest against Alderson Broaddus.  The game was a make up game from earlier in the season.  SHU cruised to an easy 21-7 victory over the Battlers.  SHU improves to 8-4 overall and 4-2 in ECAC play. 

Seton Hill jumped out to a 5-0 lead after the first quarter.  Dylan Lefebvre, Erik Hultgren, Marc Piche, Chris DeMichiei and Zack Rusch each scored in the quarter.  Piche scored from Rusch to open up the second quarter.  Lefebvre then scored from Rusch at the 10:55 mark to give SHU the 7-0 lead.  Hultgren made it 8-0 then the Zach's connected (Rusch from Hartmann) to push the lead to 9-0.  Lefebvre, Trevor Cyr and Picheeach scored before the half as SHU took a 12-1 lead into the halftime break. 

Jack Miller scored the lone Griffin goal in the third as AB was able to trim the lead to 13-5 after the third quarter.  Hartmann and Rusch pushed the lead back to ten at 15-5.  Corbin Takahara and Rusch increased the lead to 17-5 with 10:13 to play in the fourth.  Tim Schreiber, Kevin Gillian (2 goals), and Riley Martin closed out the scoring for SHU in the fourth.

Zack Rusch led the Griffins with 4 goals and 4 assists.  Dylan Lefebvre and Marc Piche each scored 3 goals. 

Seton Hill will host Lindenwood on Saturday for senior day.  The game is set for a 12 noon start.
