The #6 Seton Hill Men's Lacrosse team is upended by #11 Pfeiffer University on Saturday afternoon 7-8. The Seton Hill Griffins move to a 4-2 overall record and remain undefeated in ECAC play 2-0.
 
Marc Piche and Matt Delmonico add 2 goals less than 4 minutes left to play in the first quarter. The Griffins lead the game 2-0 headed into the second quarter.
 
Pfeiffer scored back-to-back goals at 11:29 and 7:20 in the second quarter to tie the game. Corbin Takahara assisted Erik Hultgren who scored with 20 seconds left in the quarter to give the Griffins the lead 3-2 at halftime.
 
Pfeiffer started the second half on the right foot scoring 3 unanswered goals including a man up goal to take over the lead 5-3. Zach Rusch and Jimmy Cogley both answer for the Griffins to tie the game at 6 with 2:53 left in the third quarter. Pfeiffer's Elliot Gilbert scored unassisted with 22 seconds left in the third quarter to give the Falcons a 1-goal lead headed into the fourth quarter.
 
Matt Delmonico scores back-to-back goals to take back the lead for the Griffins 7-6 with just under 10 minutes left to play.
 
Just seven seconds later, Pfeiffer answers with their own goal to tie the game at 9:46. Then Pfeiffer's Tom Buckley scored the game-winning tally at 1:11.
 
Unfortunately, Seton Hill had 3 shot attempts to try to send the game into overtime including a shot by Dylan Gelven that hit the post.
