The Griffin softball team continued its hot start with two more victories on Saturday morning at the WV Wesleyan Tournament in Salem, VA.  Seton Hill defeated former WVIAC foe Davis & Elkins 11-3 in their first contest of the day.  The Griffins then improved to 4-0 in the tournament with a 6-3 victory over Franklin Pierce.  SHU is now 9-2 on the season.

Amanda Huff earned the victory in the win over D&E.  She went 4 innings, striking out 7.  Christine Henderson threw two innings of scoreless relief.  Abbey Suhoski was 2-3 in the game including a homer.  Dani Treaster and Kristina Torretti also had multiple hits in the win.  Huff also earned the win in game two.  She came in relief in the fourth inning and struck out 5 in her four innings.  Treaster went 4-4 in game two.  Lauren Sauerwein, Kaitlyn Kutchman and Henderson all had multiple hits in game two. 

The Griffins will close out the tournament with a contest against Ohio Valley at 1 PM on Sunday.
