Seton Hill Earns 26-6 Victory at Home

On Wednesday afternoon the Griffins hosted ECAC conference opponent Alderson-Broaddus College. Seton Hill's offense proved once again to be resilient defeating the Battlers 26-6.
 
In the first quarter the Griffins jumped out to a commanding lead outscoring the Battlers 10-0. During the second quarter the Battlers started to fight back scoring two goals in the first three minutes of play making it a 10-2 contest. Seton Hill answered back with 4 straight goals extending their lead 14-2 with 2:34 remaining on the clock. The Battlers managed to put one in the back of the net to enter halftime trailing the Griffins 14-3.
 
The third quarter was all Seton Hill as they went on a 3-0 run increasing their advantage once again 17-3. In the fourth quarter the Griffins scored 7 straight unanswered goals putting the game out of reach for the Battlers 24-3 at the 5:26 mark. The Battlers put one past the keeper with 2:12 left on the clock making it 24-4. In the final two minutes of play the Battlers and Griffins both were able to score an additional two goals apiece bringing the final score to 26-6.
 
Dylan Lefebvre and Zach Hartmann who each recorded 4 goals apiece led the Griffins offense. Matt Delmonico added 3 goals. Jack Miller, Taylor Mansfield, Cody Golon, Marc Piche, and Trevor Cyr all scored 2 goals. Jack Miller led Seton Hill in assists with 6 while Trevor Cyr earned 3 assists. With the win Seton Hill improves to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in ECAC conference play. The Griffins will return to the field on Friday when they host Belmont Abbey for a game at 4:00PM.
