The softball team returned to the field at the WV Wesleyan Tournament on Friday afternoon in Salem, VA.  The Griffins dropped both of their games.  SHU fell by a score of 8-0 to Lock Haven and then dropped a 13-0 decision to Indiana (PA) in their second game of the day.  SHU falls to 1-3 on the season. 

Lock Haven jumped on the Griffins scoring 6 runs in their first two at bats to take a quick 6-0 lead.  They also added single runs in the third and sixth for the 8-0 final.  Dani Treaster and Christine Henderson had back to back singles in the Griffin first inning but a double play ended the Griffins only threat. 

Indiana (PA) scored 4 runs in the first two innings and added 6 in the fourth and 3 in the fifth for their runs.  Henderson singled and Brandi Piccolino doubled for the Griffins two hits.

Seton Hill will continue play in Salem on Saturday as they battle Kutztown and Shippensburg.
