Ms. Bloom was named head coach of the Seton Hill University Equestrian Program in the Summer of 2014. She is the owner of Bloomfield Stables in Belle Vernon and served on the Board of Directors for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association from 2005-2010. Ms. Bloom is past president of the Western Pennsylvania Professional Horseman's Association (WPaPHA) and is the  Chairman of the Mountaineer Hunter Jumper Association (MHJA) which is a 200 member professional organization that promotes equestrian education and competition in the tri-state area (PA WV OH).

She also has served as coach for the University of Pittsburgh, Penn State Fayette and Washington & Jefferson College. While at Pitt, she had riders qualify for National Finals seven out of nine years, coached five top ten finishers, and one Reserve National Champion. At W&J, she had National Qualifiers two out of three years and a top 10 finisher in the Cacchione Cup National Final.
At Seton Hill, Bloom has led the equestrian program to new heights. The team has won three straight regional championships advancing to the zones each year. The team finished fourth at zones in 2017 and was fifth the last two seasons.Â

Ms. Bloom also is coach of the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Equestrian Team of middle and high school students. She worked at Bargee Farms in Allison Park, PA, from 1993-1998, before opening Bloomfield Stables. She is a graduate of IUP with a BA in Marketing.
