Coach Alviani

Paige Alviani

Paige Alviani joins head coach Mark Katarski's staff following a spectacular four year career for the Griffins.   Paige will begin her second season as the top assistant coach in 2017-18.

Alviani finished her career with 1,723 points, 417 rebounds, 404 assists, and 153 steals.  The 1,723 points are the most by a Griffin since joining the NCAA and the third most overall by a Griffin.  She was an 84% shooter from the free throw line and added 243 three pointers in her career.

Paige was named an All Conference performer in all four of her seasons.  She was named to the All WVIAC Freshman Team in her first season and was a second team All WVIAC selection as a sophomore and a first team All WVIAC selection as a junior.   She capped her career with a first team All PSAC West honor as a senior.  She was also named a CoSIDA Academic All District selection in 2013.

Alviani spent the 2014-15 season as a volunteer assistant at Seton Hill and was the program's graduate assistant coach in 2015-16.  She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Seton Hill University in 2014, and completed the Masters of Arts in Elementary/Middle Level Education program at Seton Hill.
"Paige maximized her time as a student-athlete here at Seton Hill Univeristy, and those experiences will be invaluable to our program," head coach Mark Katarski said.
