Larry Jesky

Larry Jesky is beginning his 49th year at Seton Hill and his 19th year as FAR. 

He started as FAR while Seton Hill was still a member of NAIA and continued in the transition to NCAA, DII and moves from the WVIAC to the PSAC.

In the past he was the certifying officer for all 21 sports and completed yearly major NCAA reports along with a yearly survey of all students for a Gender Equity report.

He acts as the liaison between academics and athletics and works with student/athletes on scheduling issues.

Academically he has taught a number of the classes in the psychology major (Introductory Psychology, Professional Seminar, Motivation and Emotion, Industrial and Organization Psychology, Sports Psychology, Biological Psychology, and many other classes.  He was one of four faculty involved in the creation of the Art Therapy Major.  While Division Chair, he worked with the graduate program on Marriage and Family Therapy for reaccreditation.

Jesky graduated from the University of Detroit with a degree in Psychology and earned his Masters Degree from the University of Detroit in Experimental Psychology.
