Coach Ivill joined the Seton Hill University Track and Field coaching staff as the men’s and women’s horizontal jumps and hurdles coach in the fall of 2018-2019. In her first season as an assistant coach, her athletes broke 3 school records: women’s 400-meter hurdles, men’s 400-meter hurdles, and 110-meter hurdles. Each performance earned USTFCCCA All-Academic status, along with selection to the USTFCCCA All-Region Team.

 

Within the conference, she coached 7 medalists at the PSAC Championships, with 4 athletes achieving All-Conference awards; including an individual PSAC Champion in the women’s 400-meter hurdles, a PSAC Runner-Up in the men’s long jump, and women’s 4x400-meter relay. 

 

Coach Ivill graduated from Robert Morris University with a Doctorate in Philosophy in Instructional Management and Leadership. Prior to RMU, she earned a Master’s in Education from Lock Haven University in Teaching and Learning. She also received two Bachelor of Science degrees from Lock Haven in Health and Physical Education, and Sports Management.   

 

Representing Lock Haven University, Ivill competed in the PSAC as one of their top sprinters. Some of her notable accomplishments include: NCAA DII All-Academic status, NCAA DII Women’s East Region Athlete of the Year, PSAC Champion 200-meter Dash, PSAC Runner-up 60-meter Dash and 4x400-meter Dash, NCAA Qualifier 60-meter Dash, 200-meter Dash and 4x400-meter Relay, 2-time PSAC Athlete of the Week, LHU Sprinter of the Year, and LHU High Point Award Winner. While competing at LHU, Ivill was added to the all-time performance list to over ten different events and was recently nominated to the LHU Athletics Hall of Fame.

 

Prior to joining the staff at Seton Hill, Ivill was the assistant sprint and hurdles coach at South Park High School for seven seasons. During this time, her athletes earned medals at the PIAA and WPIAL championships, and achieved over fifteen school records in sprint, jump, hurdle, and relay events. Ivill also coached two seasons on the Junior Olympic USATF circuit. Her athletes earned Regional Champion status, along with medalist in the 110-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles, long jump, triple jump, and high jump.
