Zak Kruger will begin his third season as Seton Hill head coach in 2021.
Kruger was named to the 2020-21 United Soccer Coaches 30 Under 30 List. He currently holds a USSF National "C" Coaching License in addition to USC Goalkeeper and Advanced National Diplomas,
In 2019, the Griffins had two All Conference performers and one All Region performer in his first season with the Griffins.
Kruger spent 2018 as the head coach at Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA. In his first year as head coach, the team showed improvement on the field and that resulted in a four match win improvement from the previous season. He also coached one All CSAC player at Wilson.
Prior to Wilson, Kruger was a graduate assistant at Shippensburg University for two seasons. While at Shippensburg, Kruger coached four all conference and one all region player.
He also spent time at Millersville and Lancaster Bible College as an assistant.
As a player, Kruger helped Millersville to two PSAC semifinals and one NCAA Quarterfinal as a goalkeeper.
Kruger has worked with several professional clubs including the Baltimore Kings, the Harrisburg City Islanders, and the Hershey FC National Premier Soccer League.
More recently he has been the PA West ODP Girls Head coach and has coached with the Pittsburgh Hotspurs Soccer Club where he has won regional and state championships in addition to being a national finalist in the 2021 USYS.
