Macey Hollenshead

Macey Hollenshead will begin her second season as a graduate assistant for the Seton Hill Women's Basketball program this season. 

She helped the Griffins to their sixth straight PSAC Tournament berth and an appearance in the PSAC Quarterfinals.  Three Griffins earned All PSAC honors and the team won the PSAC Top Team GPA Award while finishing fourth in the WBCA Top 25 Academic Honor Roll. 

A native of Needmore, PA, Macey graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Accounting with a minor of Sports Leadership and Management.  She graduated from Fairfield with a 3.74 GPA and was a three time MAAC All Academic Team selection.

While at Fairfield, Macey served as a senior captain.  As a senior she played in 30 games, making 11 starts and averaged 5.3 points per game.  In her first start of the season, she scored 14 points to lead the team to a win over Rider.  She lead the team shooting 38% from three point land.

Hollenshead was a four sport letter winner at Southern Fulton HS.  She became the first female athlete to earn a Division I Scholarship.  Macey was a first team All State selection as a senior and a second team All State selection as a junior.  She helped the Indians to three district championships and was a three time All District selection. 

Macey will continue in the Master's of Business Administration (MBA) program at Seton Hill.
