Before SHU:
A three-year starter at Jamestown High School, Green helped lead her team to both a Section VI championship, and the state quarterfinals for three consecutive times, in Class AA, the state's largest classification. Individually, Green earned First Team All-Western New York honors by The Buffalo News for the second consecutive season, and was named MVP of both the Chautauqua County Senior All-Star Game, and the Cheektowaga Lions Club All-Star Game. A sixth team All-State selection as a junior, she averaged 27.0 points, and 13.3 rebounds per game as a senior, finishing her career with over 1,500 career points scored.
