Jonathan Morrow

Coach Morrow begins his second season on the Seton Hill track and field coaching staff as the throws and strength coach for the team.  During his first season on the hill, Morrow coached 16 thrower and multi-event athletes who qualified for the PSAC Championships.  Four of the 16 were All PSAC honorees and 4 were NCAA Provisional qualifiers.  Jon also coached Mallory Sanner who returned to the NCAA Outdoor Championships and secured her third straight All American honor.  Morrow's athletes also broke 6 Seton Hill records.

Prior to Seton Hill, Jonathan was an assistant cross country/track & field coach at Washington and Jefferson.  While at W&J, Jonathan organized and managed the W&J Invitational and 2013 PAC Championship meet.  He coached four NCAA Qualifiers and one All American in cross country and four NCAA qualifiers and two All Americans on the track.  He was also named the W&J assistant coach of the year in 2013.  His athletes broke 11 school records during his two seasons.  Jonathan also was the head track and field coach at Okeechobee County School District before moving to W&J.


Morrow was a four year letterwinner on the track and Westminster College.  He was a two year captain and held the javelin record at the school.  Jonathan finished second in the javelin at the PAC Championships and was a two time PAC Honor Roll Selection. 

Jonathan holds a USTAF Level I Coach, USAW Level I Sports Performance Coach and a USTFCCCA Technical Certification.

Morrow graduated from Westminster with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Secondary Education.  He is working on his MBA-Sports Management while coaching.
