Ross Fiegener will begin his seventh season with the Griffins during the 2025 season. The 2025 season will be his first season as defensive coordinator. He will be the team's Defensive Line Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coordinator.
In his first season with the Griffins, the team won two PSAC West contests, the most since the 2016 season. In 2021, the Griffins won five contests, tying for the second most wins in school history. In 2022, Fiegener coached Dioh Desuah who was named a second team All PSAC West selection.
In 2023, Fiegener coached the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Year in Dioh Desuah. Desuah was an All Conference and All Region selection and was a finalist for the Cliff Harris Award. Two members of the defensive line earned All Conference honors. Last season, Fiegener coached one All PSAC West selection.
Prior to Seton Hill, Fiegener spent one season at Texas A&M Kingsville as the football and baseball strength and conditioning coordinator as well as being the defensive line coach.
He spent one summer working at the University of Texas at Austin Athletic Performance Department where he developed a year long strength and conditioning program for volleyball.
Fiegener also coached at Vista del Lago High School for one season.
Fiegener played four seasons at Occidental College where he was a team captain during his senior season. He also earned Defensive and Special Teams Player of the Year awards. Ross was a two time All SCIAC Academic Team selection.
He is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Ross graduated from Occidental with a Bachelors of Arts in Kinesiology and has a Masters in Kinesiology from Texas A&M Kingsville.
