Rich Yahner

Rich Yahner returns to the Seton Hill coaching staff for his second season as wide receivers coach and video coordinator.  Last season, one of Yahner's wide receivers earned All PSAC West, All Region and USA College Football All American honors.

Yahner comes to Seton Hill from Penn State University where he was a member of the coaching staff from 2011-2013.  He spent 2011 as a defensive Graduate Assistant and spent the next two seasons as a special teams assistant.

Prior to Penn State, Yahner spent one season at Juniata College as the Special Teams Coordinator and Running Backs Coach.  Rich spent the 2009 season as the Associate Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator/Secondary Coach/Outside Linebackers Coach at Lewistown High School.  From 2006 to 2009, Yahner was in Charlottesville, VA on the University of Virginia staff as the coordinator of quality control.

Yahner was the co-defensive coordinator at Tyrone High School from 2003-2005.  Tyrone was a two time district champions and was the PIAA Western Finalist in 2004.  Prior to Tyrone, Rich spent two seasons at Lehigh University as Assistant Linebackers Coach and assistant video coordinator.  Rich began his coaching career at PSAC foe Clarion where he was a graduate assistant during the 1999 season.

Yahner earned his Bachelors Degree from Penn State in 1999 and earned a Masters Degree in Counselor Education from Penn State University in 2006.  Rich will reside in the Greensburg area with his wife Jaissa.
