Adam Ferita joins the Seton Hill baseball staff for his first season in 2021. Ferita is very familiar with the Griffin program as he was a four year member of the team, graduating following the 2017 season.
Before returning to Seton Hill, Ferita spent two seasons at Heidelberg as a graduate assistant where he coached the outfielders and was in charge of the team's strength and conditioning program. In his first season at the Berg, the Student Princes won the OAC Championship in addition to a regional and super regional championship with a trip to the NCAA Division III World Series.
He previously coached with the Pittsburgh Diamond Dawgs and is currently an instructor with the Leonard Baseball Academy.
In his four seasons on the hill, Ferita was a part of one PSAC Championship team, made four PSAC Tournaments and four NCAA Atlantic Regionals in addition to being a part of the first Griffin team to advance to the NCAA Division II World Series. Adam appeared in 105 games. He had a career batting average of .300. Adam has added 14 doubles, 2 triples and 13 homers while driving in 57 runs. He also stole 18 bases.
Ferita graduated from Seton Hill with a Mathematics Degree. He also earned his MBA from Heidelberg.
