Before SHU:
Kaufman helped her high school team advance to the Maryland 3A state championship game for the first time in school history as a senior. Kaufman was selected to Honorable Mention All-Met by the Washington Post, and Second Team by the Montgomery County Gazette. Kaufman was ranked as the #117 guard nationally in the class of 2014 by Hoopgurlz on ESPN.com. She also was a starting goalkeeper on her high school soccer team, which advanced to the Maryland 3A semi-finals.
