Box Score Seton Hill continued play in the 2026 NCAA Tournament with an Atlantic Regional #2 matchup with host Millersville at Cooper Park in Millersville, PA in game two of the best of three series to determine which team heads to the NCAA Atlantic Super Regional.   

The Griffins could not overcome 10 free 90's in the first two Millersville innings as they saw their season end with an 8-3 loss in game two of the best of three regional final.  SHU ends the season with a 42-12 record.  

Millersville got on the board first in the top of the first inning.  The Marauders scored their run off of two hit batters, a walk and a wild pitch.  

SHU answered right back in their half of the first inning.  Jack Whalen and Brady McGuire singled to start the inning.  Whalen stole third and scored on an Owen Henne RBI single.  Jakob Haynes followed with an RBI single to give the Griffins a 2-1 lead.  Owen Mandler walked to load the bases and Henne scored on a sacrifice fly from Gage Wheaton as the Griffins extended their lead to 3-1. 

Millersville then put up a six spot in the second.  The inning started with a hit batter, walk, walk, hit batter and hit batter which tied the score at three.  A two RBI double and RBI single gave the Marauders a 6-3 lead.  A sacrifice fly pushed the lead to 7-3.  The Marauders added a single run in the top of the seventh inning.  

Whalen led the offense with a pair of hits.  Jack Pletcher and Christian Zilli combined for 8 innings of relief, allowing just two earned runs.
