Seton Hill University has claimed the top seed in the 2026 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Tournament. The Griffins will host No. 4 seed Walsh on Wednesday, April 29 at 3:30 PM, in one of the tournament's semifinals. Northwood earned the second seed and will host the third seed Davenport in the other semifinal on Wednesday at 6:30 PM. The winners of both semifinals will advance to the championship game on Saturday, May 2nd at the highest remaining seed in the tournament.

The Griffins claimed the top seed after a 10-0 regular season in conference play. The Cavaliers finished conference play with a 7-3 mark. SHU is 14-2 overall while the Cavs are 9-8.
Last Tuesday, the Griffins scored the first six goals of the contest as they defeated the Cavaliers by the score of 16-5. SHU got off to a fast start as they scored the first six goals of the contest to build a 6-0 lead with 5:16 left in the first quarter. It took the Griffins just 25 seconds to score as
Carter Li scored the opening goal.
Kaden Granberg and
Taden Minichillo scored seven seconds a part to give SHU a 3-0 lead with 10:56 left.
Nate Herbster scored a pair and
Michael Coleman added a goal as SHU built the 6-0 lead. Walsh scored the final goal of the quarter. The Cavs scored the opening goal of the second quarter to trim the SHU lead to 6-2. Coleman scored with 8:38 left to push the lead back to 7-2. The Cavs answered and trimmed the lead back to 7-3. SHU then scored three times in the last 51 seconds of the half to push their lead to 10-3.
Dexter Hannigan scored a pair with Herbster added another.
Gavin Erickson, Li and Hannigan scored for the Griffins in the third quarter as they extended their lead to 13-4.
Noah Radle,
Tiernan Lynch and Logan Underland scored the final three goals for the Griffins. Herbster and Hannigan each scored three times. Li and Coleman added a pair.

Austin Day was second with 21 caused turnovers. He added 45 ground balls.
Parker Stanway leads the Cavs with 39 goals. Ty Pilkington leads the team with 50 points on 27 goals and 23 assists. Toby Olynyk added 26 goals and 23 assist. Holton Marshall added 22 goals and AJ Harrison scored 21. Maguire Smith leads with 29 caused turnovers. Austin England is 9-7 with a 10.77 goals against average. He has made 216 saves.
