The Griffin track and field teams competed in a pair of meets this weekend.  SHU was at the John Papa Invitational at Slippery Rock on Thursday then competed in the Morgan State Legacy this weekend in Baltimore. 

At Slippery Rock, Mackenzie McIntyre was sixth in the 100 in a time of 12.45 seconds.  

Cody Scherle was third in the javelin with a toss of 54.78m.  Angelo Allen was 4th in the discus (48.51m) and sixth in the shot put (16.29m).  Dwight Sarver was 9th in the discus with a toss of 43.14m.  Devin Underwood was ninth in the 200 (22.63) and ninth in the 400 (50.78)

At Morgan State, Jacy Willis finishes 1st in 400 (46.61) and 3rd in 200 (21.12). Kaden Crump 9th in 800 (1:54.68).  The 4x4 of Blaise Verrastro, Adam Piper, Crump and Willis finishes 3rd in a time of 3:19.60.  

Kaitlyn Guth finishes 8th in the 400 hurdles (1:05.50) and 9th in the 100 hurdles (15.41).  Madelyn Fike was 4th in the 400 (56.99).

SHU will head to Allegheny next weekend.
