After advancing to the PSAC Semifinal, the Griffin women's basketball team earned honors from the PSAC on their All PSAC West Teams.  The awards were released by the league on Friday afternoon and are nominated and voted on by the league's head coaches.  

Headlining the awards were junior forward Mia Kalich who was named PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Year.  It is the second straight season that Kalich has earned the award.  

Three members of the team earned All PSAC West honors with three first team selections.  Senior guards Helene and Hallie Cowan along with Kalich were first team selections.  They all are now two time All PSAC West first team selections.  

Hallie Cowan led the team in scoring with 18.4 points per game.  She shot 75% from the free throw line.  Hallie added 123 rebounds, 60 assists, 40 steals and 15 blocks.  Cowan scored her 1,500th career point this season.  

Helene Cowan was second on the team in scoring, averaging 17 points per game.  She shot 89% from the free throw line.  Helene added 85 assists, 80 rebounds, 45 steals and 5 blocks.  Cowan scored her 1,500th point this season.

Kalich averaged a double double of 14 points and 11.9 rebounds.  Mia led the team in rebounds, steals and assists.  She finished the season with 20 double doubles and three triple doubles.  Kalich led the PSAC in steals and was second in rebounding.  Mia was third in Division II in steals.
