Seton Hill closed out their North Carolina trip with a matchup with Wingate on Thursday afternoon.
The Bulldogs used a 7-1 third quarter to pull away from the Griffins in a 20-9 victory. SHU is now 3-2 overall.
Wingate scored the first six goals of the contest as they led 6-0 with 6:47 left in the first quarter. SHU scored the final two goals of hte first quarter and the first of the second quarter as they cut the Bulldog lead to 6-3.

Sydney Marusko and
Mya Hibsman scored the SHU goals. Wingate scored four of the next five goals to build their lead to 10-4 with 4:49 to play before the half.
Amara Forsyth and Marusko scored to close out the half as SHU trailed 10-6.
Marusko scored the first goal of the second half but the Bulldogs scored the next seven to put the game away.
Marusko led SHU with 5 goals.
Mila Udovicic added a goal and assist.
SHU will host Frostburg State next Wednesday afternoon.
