Mia Kalich has added another award to her loaded mantle as she was named a Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Honorable Mention All American selection. She is the first Griffin to earn the honor since Jenna Kaufman earned the award in 2018.
Kalich averaged a double double of 14 points and 12.1 rebounds. Mia led the team in rebounds, steals and assists. She finished the season with 22 double doubles and three triple doubles. Kalich led the PSAC in steals and was second in rebounding. Mia was third in Division II in steals.
Kalich was the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Year for the second straight season while earning first team honors from the PSAC West. Mia also earned D2CCA All Region Second Team selections this season as well.
The Women's Basketball Coaches Association is the professional association for coaches of women's and girls' basketball at all levels of competition.
