On Sunday March 22nd, 2026, Seton Hill's Women's Equestrian team concluded the regular season with a reserve champion finish at a meet hosted by Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The team was led by senior
Lauryn Johnsen who placed 1st in her limit flat class.
Seton Hill entered their final show with a narrow lead over WVU, but strong performances from all of their riders pushed them even further ahead. The Griffins won their region by 32 points. This is the third consecutive year that the Women's equestrian team has won their region, and it is the eighth time that the team has won the region in the last nine seasons. The team will head to Lehman Farms in Pittsford, NY for zone championships April 4th, 2026.
Next Sunday, March 29th, individual riders will travel to Storm Harbor Equestrian Center to compete at the regional championship meet to compete for individual spots at zones. These individuals are as follows:
Auggie Ingwalson: Open Flat, Open Fences
Annabelle Sciulli: Limit Flat, Limit Fences
Cassidy Kennedy: Limit Flat
Lily Douglass: Novice Flat
The Griffins are very proud of their accomplishments so far this season and are excited to begin post season competition over the next two weeks.
