Seton Hill junior starter Mark Wechtenhiser was named the PSAC West baseball Pitcher of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon.

Wechtenhiser was spectacular in his start against Bloomsburg to earn the award.  

Wechtenhiser earned the win in the Griffins 1-0 victory over Bloomsburg.  He went 7 scoreless innings, allowing just 3 hits and striking out 13 while walking none.  

The Griffins will open PSAC West play on Friday as they host Slippery Rock.
