The awards continue to roll in for the Seton Hill women's basketball team as a pair of players earned honors from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) on Thursday. Junior
Mia Kalich and senior
Hallie Cowan both earned second team D2CCA All Atlantic Region honors. It is the second consecutive season that Kalich has earned the award.
Kalich averaged a double double of 13.9 points and 11.7 rebounds. Mia led the team in rebounds, steals and assists. She finished the regular season with 20 double doubles and three triple doubles. Kalich led the PSAC in steals and was second in rebounding. Mia was third in Division II in steals.
Hallie Cowan led the team in scoring with 18.5 points per game. She shot 76% from the free throw line. Hallie added 127 rebounds, 62 assists, 41 steals and 15 blocks. Cowan scored her 1,500th career point this season.
Kalich was the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Year for the second straight season while earning first team honors from the PSAC West. Hallie was also a first team All PSAC West selection.
The Griffins and Lock Haven are the only two schools with two All Region selections.
