As the Griffins are in final preparations for their season opener, the men's lacrosse program picked up a few preseason All American honors from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).
Four Griffins earned Preseason All American Honors from the USILA. Three were first team selections while one earned third team honors. All four honorees are senior members of the squad.
Wade Brunelle was a first team selection at attack.
Carter Green earned first team honors at midfield.
Will Cody was a first team selection at goalie.
Nate Herbster earned third team honors at midfield.
Green was a first team USILA All American following last season. Brunelle and Cody each earned honorable mention honors from the USILA following last season.
Brunelle was second on the team in goals, assists and points with 52 goals and 38 assists. Green was fourth on the team with 31 goals while adding 26 assists. Cody was 18-2 on the season with a 5.36 goals against average. He recorded 145 saves. Herbster was third on the team in goals and points. He finished with 43 goals and 15 assists.
The Griffins will begin their season on February 14th when they host #10 Lewis.
