Seton Hill made the trip to East Stroudsburg, PA for the NCAA Super Regional on Saturday at East Stroudsburg University.
Four members of the Griffin team earned a trip to nationals after a top three finish at the Super Regionals. Â
Jacob Houpt earned a trip to nationals with a second place finish at 125 pounds. He opened with a 5-4 win and then defeated top seed Trevon Gray from UPJ 7-1 in the semifinals. Houpt dropped a 10-2 decision to #3 seed Logan Sallot from Gannon in the final. Â
Ty Linsenbigler,
Mike Zacur and
Kane Kettering each earned trips to nationals after a third place finish. Â
Linsenbigler opened with an 8-3 win at 149 pounds. He dropped a 4-1 decision in the semifinals. Linsenbigler won 4-2 and then defeated #4 Ali Alicea 14-11 in the third place match. Â
Zacur opened with a pair of 4-2 wins at 157 pounds. He dropped a tough 2-1 decision in the semifinal. Mike then won 8-3 and then won 6-4 over #2 Edward Terreri of Felician in the third place match. Â
Kettering opened with a pair of wins (16-1, 2-1) at 174 pounds. He fell 6-5 in the semifinal. Kane won 11-5 and 6-4 in the third place over #6 Dillon Walker of Gannon. Â
Ritchie McCormack also placed earning a fifth place finish. He opened with an 18-2 win. After a 3-0 loss, McCormack won 2-0 and 5-0 before a 4-3 loss in the consolation semis. Â
Jonny Baiano went 1-2 at 133 pounds.Â

Luke Boylan each went 0-2.Â
The four will head to Sioux Falls, SD for nationals on March 13 and 14. Â
