Head coach
Vince DeAugustine and and the Griffin wrestlers will travel to East Stroudsburg for the 2026 NCAA Division II Super Region I Tournament on Saturday. Twelve schools are scheduled to participate, with the top three wrestlers in each of the 10 weight classes advancing to the NCAA Division II National Tournament in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on March 14 and 15.
East Stroudsburg has set up a
Super Region I Championship website with a ton of information about the tournament. FLO wrestling will have live results through their
website.
This year's Super I Regional Tournament will feature several other of the nation's top-ranked tournament teams, including No. 3 Gannon University, No. 5 Pitt Johnstown, No. 19 Frostburg State (MD) University, No. 22 Kutztown University, No. 23 Fairmont State (WV) University, and No. 25 Shippensburg University.
In addition to the nationally ranked teams, University of Bridgeport (CT), East Stroudsburg University, Felician (NJ) University, Millersville University and Wheeling (WV) University will take part in the tournament.
Session I will begin on Saturday at 10 a.m., with the First Round, Championship semifinals & consolation quarterfinals (3 mats) followed by consolation semifinals (3 mats). Session II will follow with the Championship Semifinals, Consolation Round 3, and Semifinals) (3 mats). Session III will follow at approximately 4:00 p.m. and consist of Placement Matches: 1st, 3rd, 5th; (True-4th matches to follow if necessary). (3 mats)
Ticket prices are $15 for adults for an all session pass and $10 for students/seniors for an all session pass. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance to Kohlar Fieldhouse at ESU.
