The Griffin track and field teams made the long trip to Allendale, Michigan for the Grand Valley State University Big Meet this weekend.  

The teams were led by Jacy Willis' performance on Friday evening.  Willis set a new Seton Hill and PSAC Record in the 400 with a time of 47.09 seconds.  

The women's 4x4 relay team of Mackenzie McIntyre, Nemani Moon, Artemis Conaboy and Kaitlyn Guth set a new school record with a time of 3:53.90.  

'Angelo Allen had a pair of top 12 finishes on Friday.  He was seventh in the shot put (16.44m) and 12th in the weight throw (17.00m).  Shane Plante-King was fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 13.64 meters.  Blaise Verrastro won the 400 open on Friday with a time of 49.05.  

On Saturday, Willis placed seventh in the 200 in a time of 22.10.  Moon was eighth in the 800 in a time of 2:17.07.  McIntyre was ninth in the 200 with a time of 25.37 seconds.  

The Griffins will travel to the Mount Union Raider Tune Up next Friday.
