The Griffin track and field teams made the trip to Youngstown State University for the YSU Mid Major on Friday and Saturday in Youngstown, OH.

Angelo Allen, Kaden Crump and Mackenzie McIntyre each had two top ten finishes over the two days.  Allen was 5th in the weight throw (16.55m) on Friday and was 8th in the shot put (14.47m) on Saturday.  Crump was 6th in the 500 (1:07.91) on Friday and then 7th in the 800 (1:56.20) on Saturday.  McIntyre was 7th in the 60 yard dash (7.82) on Friday and 9th in the 200 (25.64) on Saturday.  

On Friday, Blaise Verrastro was second in the 500 in a time of 1:05.43.  Devin Underwood was third (1:07.01) and Roman Brenny was fifth (1:07.80).  Artemis Conaboy was fifth in the 500 in a time of 1:19.94.  

On Saturday Shane Plante-King was 10th in the triple jump with a mark of 12.58 meters. 

The teams will head to the Denison Invitational next Saturday.
