For the third straight season, the Seton Hill men's lacrosse program has been selected as the preseason favorite in the Great Midwest Conference Preseason Coaches Poll.  The poll is voted on by the league's head coaches and was released on Tuesday afternoon.

Seton Hill earned ten of the eleven first place votes to top the poll.  Walsh was second and earned the other first place vote.  Davenport, Northwood and Lake Erie round out the top five.  Wheeling, Tiffin, Malone, Thomas More, Point Park and Davis & Elkins round out the poll.  

SHU is coming off a season where they were 18-2 overall and 9-0 in G-MAC play.  The Griffins won the G-MAC title and advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament after a win over Wilmington in the NCAA First Round.  

Seton Hill will open the season on February 14th at home against #11 Lewis.  Conference play begins on Wednesday, March 4th when SHU hosts Lake Erie.
