The preseason awards continue to roll in for the Griffin baseball program as a pair of Griffins were named National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Preseason All Americans. Junior reliever
Zach Herb was named a first team selection while junior shortstop
Owen Henne earned second team honors. Zach joins Jack Oberdorf (2024), Perry DellaValle (2017) and Nick Sell (2014) as the only NCBWA Preseason First Team All Americans in school history.
Henne was a first team D2CCA and NCBWA All Region selection last season. Herb was a second team NCBWA All Region selection last season. Henne was a first team All PSAC West selection while Herb was a second team All PSAC West selection.
Herb was 3-2 with a 1.52 ERA and 8 saves. He struck out 36 in 35.1 innings while allowing opponents a .202 batting average. Henne led the Griffins with a .375 average last season. He added 14 doubles, 8 homers and 54 RBI.
Seton Hill is scheduled to open their season in Wingate, NC against Findlay.
