We are about two weeks away from the start of the lacrosse season and the Seton Hill men's lacrosse program finds themselves ranked in a pair of national preseason polls.

The Griffins open the year at #6 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Coaches Poll.  SHU was #7 in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Poll.  

SHU is coming off a season where they were 18-2 overall and 9-0 in G-MAC play.  The Griffins won the G-MAC title and advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament after a win over Wilmington in the NCAA First Round.  

The top threes are the same in each poll with Adelphi, Tampa and Saint Anselm making up the top three.  Maryville is fourth followed by Wingate and the Griffins in the USILA poll.  

The Griffins will face three teams in the USILA Preseason Top 20 this season.  SHU will open the season on February 14th at home against #11 Lewis.  The Griffins will host top ranked Adelphi on March 8th and travel to #9 Pace on March 21st.  The Griffins will also travel to Uindy who is receiving votes.
