As the team prepares for the 2026 baseball season, the Seton Hill baseball team has had four players earn preseason all region honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).  

Sophomore Brady McGuire, junior Owen Henne, junior Jakob Haynes and junior Zach Herb all earned NCBWA All Atlantic Region First Team honors.  

Henne was a first team D2CCA and NCBWA All Region selection last season.  Herb was a second team NCBWA All Region selection last season.  McGuire was the PSAC West Freshman of the Year last season.  Henne, and Haynes were first team All PSAC West selections while Herb was a second team All PSAC West selection.  

Henne led the Griffins with a .375 average last season.  He added 14 doubles, 8 homers and 54 RBI.  McGuire hit .317 with a team leading 24 stolen bases.  He added 16 doubles, 4 homers and 28 RBI.  Haynes led the Griffins with 12 homers while driving in 40.  Herb was 3-2 with a 1.52 ERA and 8 saves.  He struck out 36 in 35.1 innings while allowing opponents a .202 batting average.  

The Griffins were also second in the NCBWA Preseason Atlantic Region Poll.  Defending regional champ East Stroudsburg earned 8 of the 9 first place votes.  Millersville was third and earned the other first place vote.
