The Griffin track and field teams continued their indoor season in Ashland, OH at the Ashland Invitational on Saturday afternoon.  

The men's team finished with six top 10 finishes while the women's team added four top ten finishes.  

Angelo Allen was second in the shot put (16.70m) and fourth in the weight throw (17.45m).  Jacy Willis placed third in the 400 in a time of 48.69.  Devin Underwood was fourth in the 400 in a time of 49.83.  Shane Plante-King was fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 13.25m.  Adam Piper was sixth in the 60 in a time of 7.07.  The 4x4 relay team of Underwood, Gage Grassmyer, Blaise Verrastro and Willis was fifth in 3:24.66. 

Mackenzie McIntyre was second in the 60 in a time of 7.83 seconds.  Nemani Moon was third in the 800 in a time of 2:16.33.  Breeona Pheasant was ninth in the 200 in a time of 26.05.  The 4x4 relay team of Moon, McIntyre, Layla Robertson, Kaitlyn Guth and Artemis Conaboy was second in a time of 3:56.74.  

The teams will compete in the YSU Mid Major next weekend.
