Seton Hill junior forward Mia Kalich was named the PSAC West Women's Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon.  Its the third consecutive week that Kalich has won the award.  This is the second weekly award for Kalich this season.  She earned PSAC West Athlete of the Week earlier in the season.

Kalich earned the award as the Griffins went 2-0 to begin PSAC West action last week.

Kalich averaged a double double in a pair of PSAC West wins for the Griffins.  Mia averaged 17.5 points and 14.5 rebounds in the pair of wins.  She also added 13 steals and 7 assists.  Mia posted her second triple double of the season against Clarion.  She finished with 16 points, 14 rebounds and 10 steals.  

The Griffins continue PSAC West action this week as they travel to Gannon on Wednesday evening.
