Seton Hill continued PSAC West action on Saturday afternoon as they traveled to Clarion for a conference matchup.
The Griffins scored the opening goal of the contest but the Golden Eagles scored the final two goals of the contest as they defeated the Griffins 2-1. SHU falls to 2-4-1 overall and 0-3-1 in the west. Clarion improves to 1-5-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the west.
Katie Pazdziorko got the Griffins on the board first as she scored on a pass from
Binta Sow just under 15 minutes into the first half. With a little over 15 minutes left in the first half, Clarion tied the score at one.
The game remained tied at one until less than five minutes remaining in the contest as the Golden Eagles converted a penalty kick to take a 2-1 lead.
Sow led the Griffins with two shots on goal.
Jordan Spozarski recorded five saves in net for the Griffins.
SHU will continue PSAC West play on Wednesday afternoon when they travel to Pitt Johnstown.
