The Griffin Cross Country Teams took part in the Lock Haven Invitational at the West Branch Course on Saturday morning.
The men's team finished fourth overall in the 8K White Race while the women's team finished seventh overall in the 6K White Race.
Leading the way for the men's squad was a 1-2 finish from
Cody Achilles and
Kaden Crump. Achilles won the 8K White Race in a time of 26:22.20. Crump finished second in a time of 26:27.70.
Kamsi Obuekwe was 26th overall in a time of 27:44.50.
Pacing the women's team was
Marissa Manko who placed 18th overall. She ran the 6K course in a time of 25:08.20.
Katelyn Stravinsky was 25th overall with a time of 25:35.30.
Jada Freeman was 35th overall with a time of 26:18.90.
The teams will next compete at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on October 11th.
