Seton Hill continued their three match homestand with a PSAC Crossover against Lock Haven on Friday evening in Greensburg.
The Griffins swept their third straight match as they defeated the Bald Eagles 3-0. SHU is now 7-4 on the season while Lock Haven falls to 3-8. Â
SHU scored the first six points of the first set and rolled to a 25-10 first set win to open the match. Lock Haven battled the Griffins in the second set before a 6-0 Griffin run gave SHU a 15-11 lead that led to a 25-21 second set win. The Griffins used a 6-0 run in the early portion of the set and then broke a 14-14 tie with a 5-0 run that propelled them to a 25-18 third set win and the sweep. Â
Payton Rodberg led the Griffins with 11 kills.Â
Catie Flohr added nine kills.Â
Mallory Meinen paced the offense with 17 assists. Flohr led SHU with six blocks. Rodberg, Meinen,
Maddie Stout and
Ella Deeter each had two aces to tie for team high.Â
Kendyl Wagner led SHU with 15 digs. Â
SHU will host Bloomsburg on Saturday in another PSAC crossover to close out their three game homestand. Â
