Seton Hill continued their season opening road trip with an important early season regional battle at Millersville on Wednesday evening.
SHU scored a goal late in the second half as they defeated the Marauders 1-0 to earn a big Atlantic Regional win. The Griffins are now 2-0 on the season.
The teams played to a scoreless first half. The Griffins outshot the Marauders 8-3 in the first half.
With just under 17 minutes remaining in the second half, the Griffins took a 1-0 lead.
Villads Jensen scored the game winner for the Griffins.
Christofer Duran-Escobar assisted on the game winner.
James Aubrey led the Griffins with four shots on goal. Jensen added three shots on goal.
Jannik Reiss recorded three saves in the shutout win.
SHU will continue non conference play on Saturday afternoon as they host Bloomsburg.
