Griffin running back Ky'Ron Craggette picked up a preseason honor on Monday as he was named to D2Football.com's Elite 100 preseason second team squad.  

The Elite 100 Watch List was selected by the staff of D2Football.com with the input of numerous sitting head coaches as well as professional football scouting veteran Josh Buchanan. The team includes first and second team selections for offense, defense and special teams along with 25 "squad" players for offense and defense. Squad players are equivalent to "honorable mention" selections in similar national recognition lists.

Craggette returns to the Griffin backfield after a spectacular 2024 season.  After the 2024 season, Craggette was named to the D2CCA All Super Region Team in addition to being a first team All PSAC West selection.  Craggette finished the season with 1,287 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns.  He led the PSAC in rushing yards and touchdowns.  Ky'Ron was fourth in Division II in rushing yards and ninth in rushing touchdowns.

The Griffins open the 2025 season at home when they host Fairmont State on Thursday evening, August 28th.
