Sixty percent of Seton Hill student athletes were honored as PSAC Scholar Athletes as 302 Griffins earned the award, the league office announced on Tuesday.  Any student athlete from a sport with a PSAC Championship with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above is named to the list.  East Stroudsburg led the league with 361 student athletes named to the list while Bloomsburg was second with 312.  Seton Hill was third with 302 and the Rock followed in fourth with 297.  60% of Seton Hill student athletes were named to the list. That was the third highest percentage of student athletes in the league.

One hundred fifty four SHU female athletes made the list, led by 34 members of the soccer program.  Women's lacrosse was second with 27.  23 members of the softball program also earned the honor.  Cross Country/Track and Field added 22 and basketball finished with 17.  Volleyball finished with 16.  Golf added eight while tennis added seven.  

One hundred forty eight male athletes earned the honor led by 47 members of the football team.  Baseball was next with 03 athletes, followed by track and field/cross country with 25.  Men's soccer finished with 24.  Wrestling added 14 while basketball finished with eight.

Last season, Seton Hill had 292 student athletes (58% of student athletes) earn the PSAC Scholar Athlete Award.  

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference has announced that 3,922 student-athletes from the league's institutions were named to the list during the 2024-25 academic year.
