After advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinals, the honors continued to roll in for the Seton Hill men's lacrosse program, as ten players were named to the USILA All-North Region teams, announced Tuesday afternoon.
Four Griffins earned first team honors, three Griffins earned third team honors and three earned Honorable Mention honors. Â
Senior
Charlie Hudson was named a first team defender while senior
Braedan Lockyer earned first team honors at attack. Senior
Mark Strunk was a first team selection at face off and
Carter Green was first team at midfield. Senior
Alex Callahan was a third team selection at defense. Junior
Wade Brunelle was a third team selection at midfield and senior
Justin Dian was a third team selection at SSDM. Senior
Holden Charboneau was an honorable mention selection at defense. Sophomore
Cullen Green was a honorable mention selection at LSM and junior
Will Cody was an honorable mention selection at goalie. Â
Lockyer,
Carter Green, Callahan, Charboneau and Cody each earn their second All Region honor. Â
Lockyer led the Griffins in goals, assists and points. He has 59 goals and 38 assists on the season. Brunelle was second in all three categories. He had 52 goals and 38 assists. Strunk won 74% of his faceoffs. He also led with 149 ground balls.Â
Carter Green was fourth on the team with 31 goals while adding 26 assists. Callahan led SHU with 22 caused turnovers. He added 30 ground balls. Hudson was second on the team with 20 caused turnovers while adding 29 ground balls. Dian had 17 caused turnovers and 55 ground balls while scoring two goals and adding an assist. Â
Charboneau had 17 caused turnovers and 27 ground balls while scoring a pair of goals.Â
Cullen Green 19 caused turnovers and 54 ground balls. He added four goals and two assists. Cody was 18-2 on the season with a 5.36 goals against average. He recorded 145 saves. Â
