The postseason awards continue to fly in for the Seton Hill baseball program as they are having another very successful season.  On Friday afternoon, the team picked up honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).

The Griffins won one of the three major awards from the NCBWA for the Atlantic Region and also added three first team and one second team All Region selection.

Redshirt junior starter Ian Korn was named the NCBWA Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Year.  Korn was also a first team All Region selection as a starter.  Joining Korn on the first team were graduate student starting pitcher Jon McCullough and sophomore shortstop Owen Henne.  Sophomore reliever Zach Herb was a second team selection.

It is the first All Region honor for all four student athletes.  All four were first team All PSAC West selections earlier this season with Korn earning the PSAC West Pitcher of the Year award.

Korn is 11-1 on the season with a 1.51 ERA.  In his 13 starts, Korn allowed just 50 hits in 77.1 innings of work.  Ian struck out 76 and opponents hit just .181 off him.  Jon McCullough is 8-3 on the season with a 2.05 ERA.  Jon worked 74.2 innings, allowing 63 hits while striking out 56.  Out of the bullpen, Zach Herb leads the Griffins with seven saves.  He is 3-1 with a 0.61 ERA.  Zach has struck out 31 in 29.2 innings with opponents hitting just .181 off him.

Henne leads the Griffins with a .365 average.  Owen also leads the team with 48 RBI.  He has 13 doubles, 1 triple, 7 homers and 22 stolen bases on the season.
