Seton Hill took a break from PSAC West play as they hosted Daemen on Wednesday afternoon in Greensburg.
The Griffins jumped out to a 10-1 halftime lead and defeated Daemen by a 15-5 score. SHU is now 8-4 on the season.
SHU jumped out to a 3-0 lead over the Wildcats on goals from
Mila Udovicic,
Grace Agnello and
Amara Forsyth. Daemen scored with 4:41 left to trim the lead to 3-1.
Skylar Orlowski scored for the Griffins late in the first quarter as the Griffins led 4-1 after one quarter.
The second quarter was all Seton Hill as the Griffins outscored Daemen 6-0 in the quarter.
Sydney Marusko and Udovicic scored in the first five minutes of the quarter.
Brooklyn Miller scored with 9:49 left in the quarter as the Griffins built a 7-1 lead. Agnello and Orlowski scored 35 seconds apart as SHU extended the lead to 9-1.
Ruby DePalma scored right before the halftime buzzer to extend the Griffins lead to 10-1 at the halftme break.
Agnello and
Ella Wroblewski scored to open the third quarter scoring. Marusko and Wroblewski scored for the Griffins as they led 14-4 at the end of the third quarter.
Agnello scored the lone Griffin goal in the fourth quarter.
Agnello scored four goals and added an assist. Udovicic finished with two goals and four assists. Orlowski added two goals and three assists. Wroblewski and Marusko finished with two goals. DePalma had a goal and two assists.
Emma Zepp made six saves in the second half.
SHU will host IUP on Saturday afternoon.
