Seton Hill freshman pitcher Shelby Telegdy was named the PSAC West Softball Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.  It is the first award won by a Griffin this season.  

Telegdy earned the award as the Griffins went 3-1 vs Charleston and Point Park last week.  

Telegdy led the Griffins to a 3-1 week by going 7-14 (.500) at the plate.  Shelby added 2 doubles, 3 homers and drove in 6 while scoring 4 runs.  She slugged 1.286 on the week.  Shelby was also 2-0 in the circle.

SHU is playing Fairmont State on Tuesday afternoon.
