The Griffin women's lacrosse team closed out their Florida trip with a matchup with #6 Lynn at St Leo on Saturday afternoon.
Lynn jumped out to a 13-4 halftime lead and defeated the Griffins by a 21-7 score. SHU is now 3-3 while Lynn improves to 9-0.
Lynn scored the first five goals of the contest as they led 5-0 just over five minutes into the contest.
Mila Udovicic got the Griffins on the board before the Fighting Knights scored the final two of the quarter to lead 7-1.

Ella Wroblewski and
Carley O'Mara scored for the Griffins in the first eight minutes of the second quarter as the Griffins cut the lead to 9-4. SHU trailed 13-4 at the half.
Sydney Marusko opened the scoring in the third quarter.
Grace Agnello and
Skylar Orlowski also scored in the third.
Udovicic led the team with a goal and two assists. Orlowski and Agnello each added a goal and assist.
SHU will open PSAC West play next Sunday when they travel to IUP.
